So after my first blog post, people have been asking me about how i lost 20kg and since I am still not sure what to write for my second post i decided to tell you guys how i lost all the weight! Before i start, sorry about all the spelling mistakes in my previous post, i was so excited that i forgot to check. Oops! Okay, I shall stop blabbering and start NOW!
I ACTUALLY COUNTED CALORIES
Well i was new to all the diet thing and just like most people out there, i thought that by cutting calories and exercising A LOT i will get what I want. So I would still eat Nutella, macdonalds, KFC and more. I won't lie, my weight did go down but i still had body fat thus i did some research online and changed my diet. (Continued below ☻)
EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISING
I am sure all of you have heard this A MILLION TIMES. But really, if you want to lose weight without harming your body you just have to eat clean and exercise! Of course, eating clean can be tough and getting out of your bed takes a lot of effort but you just have to start slowly! So i got rid of all kinds of soda and other drinks that has sugars added and just drank plain water! I started to eat salads with a bit of dressing, wholemeal wraps and fruits. I hit the gym 3 times a week and when I am too busy to go to the gym i do some home workouts which i can find from YouTube. Now, it has become more of a lifestyle for me. It takes time to get results, BUT STAY MOTIVATED AND PUSH YOURSELF. I assure you, you will see changes! Of course i have had days where I get so lazy and crave for a burger and pizza. I AM A TEENAGE GIRL AFTER ALL SO. I do have cheat meals at times and there will be weeks where i never, NEVER exercise. I will be honest, eating unhealthy at times and never exercising made my hate myself and feel guilty so instead of eating a tub of ice cream and crying about how useless i am, i sit down and write about how i feel. That reminded me to never eat so unhealthy anymore and to always try my best to exercise. During my weight loss journey i have had my ups and downs but i always reminded myself that i never want to go back to how i looked last time. If you want to lose weight, you need patience and determination. I never compared myself with any other girls BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT BODY!!!! I don't weigh myself, instead i take pictures of myself every month and compare. At times i never saw any difference but i just kept going. Sometimes i felt like i grew fatter and some days i felt like i am really skinny but i just kept going! ☻
WHY CONTINUE EVEN THOUGH I HAVE LOST 20kg???
Like i said, it has become a lifestyle for me and I can't eat unhealthy everyday, i feel really bloated and uneasy to be honest. As well as, ever since I have changed my diet, i feel more energized, healthy, fit and my skin IS WAY BETTER NOW. So girls, if you want to have a good skin eating clean, drinking lots of water and exercising helps.
NOW, i am 20kg lower, feeling healthy and fit and have a better skin! I won't say i don't feel insecure about my body and face anymore because i still do but i try to not bother so much. BESIDES YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE SO WHY BOTHER. I am sorry if this post is extremely long and boring 😔 But i still hope you had fun reading about my journey and i hope it gave you some motivation! BYE 😘
