10 October 2014

Exams are finally over which means I have more time to read, relax and do whatever I want. It feels good to not to be stressed about the amount of functions and equations I have to memorize and fear that I will not be able to get everything into my tiny head. Also, I can finally enter Starbucks without a bag filled with thick assessment books and notes. But I am praying that all my effort and visits to Starbucks to study pays off because I do want to look at my report book and feel satisfied.

Anyways, the day after my last paper was marking day (i hope my teachers have fun trying to read my messy handwriting) so I obviously went out. Nut (Nathania) and I first met at Orchard and we first went to Lush where she got something that I can't remember now. After that we went to Bath & BodyWorks and I think my nose lost its smelling sense as after a while of smelling all the different scent, everything started to smell the same. Oh well. I was so tempted to get a candle but I still had a few at home waiting to be lighted up so I decided that it was best to not leave the shop with a bag filled with candles. We then went to Kinokuniya where I got the book called, Keeping You A Secret, by Julie Anne Peters. I was so happy that I finally got my hands on it since it was always sold out. Next, we walked around Topshop and Forever 21 and tried on a few clothes. I wanted to get a leather jacket which I have been eyeing on since forever but in the end I left the shop with nothing.

We then decided to have lunch at Maki San at The Cathay so we had to go to Dhoby Ghaut which we were willing to since we have not ate there. I was happy that the place was not crowded and we were able to get a sit immediately. At Maki San you can DIY your own sushi and salad which made me happy because I got to choose what I want in my sushi. There was no queue so Nut and I ordered and went to sit. The food arrived really fast to be honest. After taking pictures of our sushi and the cute box that it came in we finally started to eat. I tried to eat my sushi with chopsticks but I failed so I gave up and used a fork and spoon instead. I finished all my sushi while Nut decided to pack hers because she was full (she has a small stomach).

Next, we went to Somerset. But we left the place after a while and went to Vivo City. There, Nut and I walked in to Topshop, Forever 21, Cotton On and Bershaka, looked at the clothes and sat whenever we spotted a seat because our legs were dying due to all the walking and traveling. Nut wanted to get Gong Cha so once she bought her drink we sat at the sitting area and I took out my shoes because my feet started to turn red. To be honest, I was so tempted to walk around Vivo barefooted but I was afraid that something might poke my feet.

We also met Lotus, Alyssa and Rebecca at Vivo and they were all going for Halloween Horror Night (sigh). After they left Nut and I went to the pet shop and we were admiring the cute little dogs which were kept behind the glass. It was sad how they have to be stuck there though. Before leaving, we went to take pictures at the Apple Store and get boost! Finally, Nut and I went back home.

I was exhausted from all the walking and my feet was aching but I had a lot of fun with Nut! I want holidays to start though because I do not want to wake up early and go to school. Now, I just hope that my results do not turn out to be horrible....

Thank you for reading, I hope I am able to blog more now! Bye!

Alone Time.

It has been forever since I last blogged. It is crazy how it's already August and 2015 is only few months away. So many things has happened recently and time has been passing extremely fast. With all the studying and everything else I felt like I needed a break. Okay not really a break. I guess it is more of like a time for myself where I just be alone. I enjoy doing this a lot because sometimes being alone isn't that bad. You get to relax and just enjoy the little things in life. Thus, today after school I went to have lunch alone at Great World City. I ate at Salad Stop because I actually felt like eating salad to be honest.

The salad I ate. It was a lot though.

After eating I went to Tiong Bahru to get new books from Books Actually. It isn't far from Tiong Bahru Plaza to be honest so you can just walk there but if you are lazy or if the weather is too hot, you can take the bus instead. You still need to walk a little from the bus stop anyways. I walked because the weather was nice and I enjoy walking. It was my first time going to Books Actually and I actually managed to find it on my own! I was excited before I even entered the shop to be honest. I love story books so I always get excited whenever I spot a shop filled with them.

The Penguin was so cute though and I liked how there were books outside the shop.

So many books, so little money.

The cat was so cute and soft.

It felt like I heaven and it was a bad idea coming alone because I couldn't bear to leave. I just wanted to stay and look at all the amazing books they had. The places was filled with so many books that I have never seen at other book stores. It was really hard for me to decide which books to get to be honest because I wanted so many but I didn't have enough money. I took a long time to decide which to get but finally made up my mind and got 2 books. The next time I am visiting Books Actually I will probably bring a friend along.

I was glad that I decided to have some alone time today because I felt better. There was no drama or any other things. It was just simple and going to Books Actually made me feel relaxed and calm. I would never go to town area whenever I want to have some alone time because I will never feel relaxed. To be honest, everything that happens in town seems so fast-paced and I don't want that. I rather go somewhere that is slow-paced and simple because life is already fast-paced and complicated.

I enjoyed today and I can't wait to read my new books! Now, all I am looking forward to is the September holidays because I am tired of school. Sigh. I hope I get to blog soon though.  But bye for now, thanks for reading!

first week of the holidays.

I remember waiting for the June holidays to arrive and it finally has. But the first week has already ended???? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE. I don't get why time has to fly so fast when I am enjoying myself. Anyways I spent my first week of the holidays productively so I decided to do a blog post about it so that you all will know what I did!

YES. I did spend time studying because after parent-teacher meeting, I got motivated to actually study and also because of what my teacher told my parents. It motivated me even more! BUT I did not spend everyday studying, of course. I started my holidays by meeting Zoey, one of my close primary school friend, on the 1st of June and having lunch with her at Vivo because that was the nearest. We ate at Earle Swensen's and decided to eat the food at the salad buffet.

To be honest we actually had fun eating salad as we were too busy decorating our plates to make them tumblr-ish and then taking pictures of them because that is what you do besides taking pictures of yourself.

We the enjoyed our food and talked about how our lives had been, what we went through and what we want to happen. After so much of talking, laughing and eating we finally left the restaurant. We walked around Vivo and then Zoey wanted to buy chicken from McDonald's. She wanted to sit there and talk so that she could enjoy her chicken thus, we did that and continued talking. She then had to leave and so did I. We gave each other a big hug before leaving. After saying goodbye and boarding the bus, I realized that we both didn't take any pictures and I felt like punching myself. Now, I just hope I meet her again.

NEXT OUTING

I did not plan for this to happen, it just happened. I woke up in the morning on Tuesday, ate breakfast and went to do some studying. In the middle of studying my friend, Ying Hui, asked me if I was free to watch a movie with her and I was free in the evening however she had to go somewhere else at 6, thus we cancelled it. But I was already in the mood of going out so after asking so many people Lesya was the only one who could make it so she booked the tickets for Maleficient at Vivo because once again, it was near for the both of us and Lesya was already there.

LAST OUTING OF THE WEEK

I went to watch X-Men......

ON MY OWN. But the movie was amazing so it was worth it. After the movie I went to meet my dad to go to Popular to get more assessment books. It was also a father-daughter time.

you have to always take pictures at the toilet

SATURDAYYY

My father, mother and I went to Great World City to get some things from an Organic [ i think??? ] shop. We walked there because we lived near the mall and the weather was nice.

I BOUGHT HAZELNUT BUTTER BUT I WANT THEM ALL

I also bought some tea!!

Trying to get a perfect picture

I hope you all had fun during your first week of holidays and  spend your holidays carefully because it is all over once the school re-opens.

17 May 2014

Finally the exams are over and now I can finally relax and have more time to do the things I enjoy because I hate studying. Who doesn't? To enjoy the end of examinations, I decided to go and watch a movie with my closest cousin! We wanted to watch Devil's Knot but they were no long playing at Vivo so we watched Godzilla instead. We booked our tickets the previous day so that we can get really good seats.

We decided to meet earlier so that we can talk and take pictures! We even planned to wear the same clothes and be matching :)

After taking pictures and laughing at our ridiculous faces we walked around Vivo and bought chips for the movie! We then went to the cinema so that we won't end up being late and while we were waiting to go inside the hall we took a few more pictures! A good way to kill time.

After all the boring advertisements, the movie finally started. I got really excited because the trailer seemed amazing. However, at the end of the movie I realized that it was not worth watching the movie in 3D but the movie was still fabulous. We didn't regret watching it in the cinema.
My cousin and I then walked around Vivo before heading back home as it was already 11 and we were tired.

In conclusion, the day was amazing and I had fun talking to my cousin and spending some alone time with her as most of the time her sister and my brother would join us. After a long time, we are going out together alone :) Hope we get to do this more often!
