Finally the exams are over and now I can finally relax and have more time to do the things I enjoy because I hate studying. Who doesn't? To enjoy the end of examinations, I decided to go and watch a movie with my closest cousin! We wanted to watch Devil's Knot but they were no long playing at Vivo so we watched Godzilla instead. We booked our tickets the previous day so that we can get really good seats.

We decided to meet earlier so that we can talk and take pictures! We even planned to wear the same clothes and be matching :)

After taking pictures and laughing at our ridiculous faces we walked around Vivo and bought chips for the movie! We then went to the cinema so that we won't end up being late and while we were waiting to go inside the hall we took a few more pictures! A good way to kill time.

After all the boring advertisements, the movie finally started. I got really excited because the trailer seemed amazing. However, at the end of the movie I realized that it was not worth watching the movie in 3D but the movie was still fabulous. We didn't regret watching it in the cinema.
My cousin and I then walked around Vivo before heading back home as it was already 11 and we were tired.

In conclusion, the day was amazing and I had fun talking to my cousin and spending some alone time with her as most of the time her sister and my brother would join us. After a long time, we are going out together alone :) Hope we get to do this more often!

3rd May 2014

I love weekends because it's a mini break from a long and tiring week of school. It's also my exam period right now so i am extremely stressed with school and studies. All I'm looking forward to is holidays to be honest. I just can't wait to wake up without being forced and starting my day with a delicious breakfast.

Today i woke up craving for pancakes so badly. Wait no, actually I have been craving for it since the night before. Thus, I decided to make them! I tried a different recipe today because I love experimenting with food. Recently I went to mustafa with my parents and I bought coconut flour which I have been wanting to get since the start of the year so i decided to use it today. I was shocked at how sweet the flour smelled and that made me even more excited to make the pancakes.

I first blended a large banana, oats, 2 eggs with some spinach ( it's up to you if you want to add spinach. You can leave it out or add cacao powder ) in my blender. Once that is nicely blended i poured the batter in a bowl and added 2 tablespoon of coconut flour slowly. I whisked the batter carefully and slowly so that I won't end up making a mess. I then added an egg white and a bit of milk as the batter was slightly too thick and i finally got the consistency just the way i liked. I left the batter to sit for 5 minutes and then cooked it in a non-stick pan!

After cooking everything i stacked them up and drizzled a generous amount of honey, blueberry sauce, raw chocolate sauce and topped them with peanut butter because I can never have pancakes without peanut butter.

The pancakes were extremely fluffy, moist and delicious! No it was beyond delicious. The coconut flour really changed the taste of the pancakes to be honest. I was in love with them! I ate them slowly and savoured every bite. The fact that the pancakes turned out well made my morning. Can't wait to make them again!
